Street Outreach

RecoveryWorks launched its Street Outreach program in 2025 to connect with neighbors experiencing unsheltered homelessness throughout Lakewood. Our outreach team meets people where they are—on the streets, in parks, encampments, and other public spaces—building trust and relationships over time.

Street outreach is an essential component of our rehousing continuum, ensuring we reach people directly on the street, including those most vulnerable to harm or injury. Our team provides basic-needs resources and connects people to health care, benefits, shelter, recovery support, and other services, while helping individuals take steps toward stable housing. Outreach also helps identify people who may be eligible for RecoveryWorks’ Bridge Housing, Medical Respite, and All Roads Addiction Recovery programs.

We work closely with the City of Lakewood, county and municipal homeless navigators, and other community partners to coordinate outreach and connect people with the right resources and housing opportunities.
